The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.
This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.
The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall. This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.
Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.
We make no warranties that the mask prevents infections or the transmission of viruses or diseases.

The composition of this onion sprout curving gracefully out of the onion caught my attention. I wanted to let it grow, sacrificing the use of the onion in cooking, just to see it bloom. But much of the joy of painting this was doing the butcher block surface, seeing color in the neutral tones and shadows that harmonized so well with the onion colors but still allowed the onion to shine.
The original painting has an archival mat, but is unframed.
I was honored to be the gold medal winning poster artist for the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in 2016 with my watercolor painting of a tulip bouquet.
In 2012 I qualified to be a signature member of the Northwest Watercolor Society (NWWS). This is earned by being juried into a select number of local chapter and international watercolor society shows sponsored by NWWS. The initials now follow my signature on recent watercolor paintings.

Watercolor is my medium. I zoom in and compose from my photos to fill a picture plane with a compelling design that takes the viewer into an abstract and sensual world. I look for beautiful transitions of color or textures that could be expressed luminously with my many glazes of watercolor, or that might provide an opportunity for me to try new painting techniques. The shapes, designs and patterns inside flowers and plants are the subject that awakened my love of painting, giving me a chance to create images of stunning beauty while merging realism with an abstract sense of design. As my paintings get larger, and I face new technical challenges with watercolor,...
